My Bookish New Year's Resolution: A Year of Literary Adventure

As the year draws to a close, it's time to reflect on the past year and set new goals for the future. For me, one of those goals is to dive deeper into the world of books. I've always loved reading, but lately, I've been feeling a bit disconnected from the written word.

My Reading Goals for the New Year

  1. Read More Diversely: I want to challenge myself to read books by authors from different backgrounds and cultures.
  2. Join a Book Club: Connecting with other book lovers and discussing our favorite reads can be a lot of fun.
  3. Try a New Genre: I'm thinking of branching out into science fiction or horror.
  4. Read More Classic Literature: There are so many timeless classics that I've been meaning to read.
  5. Set a Reading Goal: I'm aiming to read at least 40 books next year.

Overcoming Reading Obstacles

One of the biggest challenges I face is finding the time to read. Between work, family, and other commitments, it can be difficult to carve out time for reading. To overcome this, I plan to:

  • Read a Little Bit Every Day: Even 15-20 minutes of reading can make a big difference.
  • Create a Dedicated Reading Space: A cozy nook where I can relax and unwind.
  • Limit Screen Time: Reducing screen time can help me focus on reading.

I'm excited to embark on this literary journey and I can't wait to share my thoughts and recommendations with you.

What are your reading goals for the new year? Let's inspire each other to read more and more!
