Life's been a whirlwind lately. Between work, family, and the endless stream of emails, I've found myself with less and less time to do the things I love, like curling up with a good book. Reading, once my go-to escape, has taken a backseat. But every now and then, a book comes along that pulls me back into its world, reminding me why I fell in love with reading in the first place.
One such book is Murder Between Friends by Liz Lawson. I was lucky enough to get my hands on an advance reader copy, and let me tell you, it's a real page-turner. Lawson has a knack for crafting intricate mysteries with compelling characters, and this one is no exception. The story is full of twists and turns that will keep you guessing until the very end.
A Bit of a Bookworm
I used to be a voracious reader, devouring books at an alarming rate. I'd spend hours lost in different worlds, following the adventures of characters I grew to love. I'd often stay up late, fueled by caffeine and the thrill of a good story. But as life got busier, my reading habits slowed down.
I still love the idea of getting lost in a book, but it's harder to find the time. I often find myself starting a book, only to put it down halfway through and forget about it. It's frustrating, but it's the reality of modern life.
A Glimpse of Hope
Murder Between Friends has rekindled my love for reading. It's a reminder that even in the busiest of times, there's always room for a good book. I'm determined to make more time for reading, even if it's just a few minutes a day.
I'm also planning to join a book club. I think it will be a great way to meet new people and discuss books with others who share my passion. I'm excited to see where this new chapter in my reading life takes me.
What have you been reading lately? Any recommendations?
