Bookish Mishaps: When Reading Goes Wrong

Let's face it, reading isn't always a peaceful, serene experience. Sometimes, things go hilariously wrong. Here are a few of my most memorable bookish mishaps:

1. The Great Coffee Spill of 2024: I was so engrossed in a particularly suspenseful thriller that I completely forgot about my coffee. The result? A ruined book and a very sticky lap.

2. The Case of the Missing Pages: I was so excited to start a new book that I accidentally ripped out a few pages while trying to get it open. Now I have a gaping hole in my story.

3. The Great Book Swap Disaster: I was trying to be organized and label all my books with their titles. Unfortunately, I accidentally switched the labels on two books. Now I have no idea which one I'm supposed to be reading.

4. The Bookworm's Dilemma: I was so engrossed in a particularly suspenseful thriller that I completely forgot about the time. I ended up staying up way too late and feeling groggy the next day.
