TBR Treasures: A Librarian's Loot
cue dramatic drumroll
Okay, bookworms, I'm about to drop some serious TBR knowledge on you. I've just scored a literary jackpot at my local library, and I'm beyond excited to dive into these new reads. Let's talk about my latest acquisitions:
Hidden Pictures by Jason Rekulak:
Okay, so, I know what you're thinking. "Hidden Pictures? Isn't that for toddlers?" Well, yes, and no. This book is a clever blend of mystery and nostalgia, promising to take us on a nostalgic journey through childhood memories and drawings. I'm intrigued by the idea of solving puzzles and uncovering hidden secrets within the pages of a seemingly ordinary drawing. Plus, who doesn't love a good dose of nostalgia?
Local Woman Missing by Mary Kubica:
If you're a fan of suspenseful thrillers, then you need to add this book to your TBR. Mary Kubica is a master of creating tense and atmospheric stories, and "Local Woman Missing" promises to be no exception. I'm particularly drawn to the premise of a missing person case that uncovers a web of secrets and lies within a seemingly idyllic small town.
Look Closer by David Ellis:
This one is a bit of a wildcard for me, but the intriguing cover and synopsis caught my eye. "Look Closer" is about Simon and Vicky, a seemingly perfect Chicago couple, hide a web of lies. A murder exposes their secrets, revealing a tangled tale of passion, greed, and revenge. Who is conning who? This suspenseful novel will keep you guessing
So, there you have it, my latest library haul! I'm absolutely itching to get started on these books and see what adventures await. Which of these titles have you read? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. Happy reading, bookworms!
