I'm a self-proclaimed bookworm. There's nothing quite like getting lost in a good story, whether it's a thrilling mystery, a heartwarming romance, or a thought-provoking horror. My reading habits have evolved over the years, but there are a few things that have remained constant.
My reading environment is sacred. I prefer to read in a quiet, cozy space, preferably with a cup of hot coffee or chocolate and a soft blanket. My favorite reading spots include my favorite armchair, the local library, or even curled up in bed.
I'm a mood reader. I'll often choose a book based on how I'm feeling. If I'm stressed, I'll reach for a lighthearted comedy. If I'm feeling introspective, I'll opt for a thought-provoking novel.
I'm a fan of physical books. While I do enjoy reading e-books, there's something special about holding a physical book in my hands. I love the smell of old paper and the feeling of turning a page.
I'm always on the lookout for new recommendations. I love discovering new authors and genres. I'm a frequent visitor to my local library and I'm always asking friends and family for book suggestions.
I'm a slow reader. I like to take my time and savor every word. I'm not one to rush through a book.
I'm a fan of book clubs. I love discussing books with other readers and getting different perspectives. I've been a member of several book clubs over the years and I've learned a lot from my fellow bookworms.
What are your reading habits? Do you share any of mine? Let me know in the comments below!
I am definitely a mood reader as well, which can be kinda tricky when it comes to review books. When it comes to book format I am the opposite, I love ebooks and audiobooks. I only very rarely read physical books anymore. I also like new book recommendations. I've never tried a book club, so not sure whether I would like those.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree being a mood reader sometimes makes it difficult to get through my TBRs. Yes, I love audiobooks, especially when it is pair with the physical copy to follow along. Thank you for the comment, Have a great day!
