ARC Book Review: Haunted World by Theresa Cheung

 Haunted World by Theresa Cheung

  Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This book was amazing, not only was it filled with research but it was written as a story. This type of writing style made it enjoyable and interesting to read. This was honestly the perfect book to start the fall season. While I was listening to the paranormal stories, I kept imagining myself in these kind of situations.

One of the strengths of this book is Cheung's ability to blend personal anecdotes with scientific research. She delves into the latest afterlife science and research, offering fascinating insights into our enduring fascination with the paranormal. The author's exploration of the four categories of hauntings—residual, poltergeist, inhuman, and intelligent—provides a comprehensive overview of the diverse manifestations of ghostly activity.

Cheung's writing style is engaging and accessible, making the subject matter approachable for both seasoned paranormal enthusiasts and newcomers to the field. Her ability to weave together personal stories from her readers and listeners adds a layer of authenticity and human connection to the book.

If you're a fan of:

  • True ghost stories
  • Paranormal investigations
  • Theories about the afterlife
  • Halloween and even TV show: Stranger Things :)

Then "Haunted World" is likely to be a compelling read for you. Cheung's ability to blend personal anecdotes with scientific research has made her a popular figure in the paranormal community.
